Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Occupational Therapist role is available within a K-12 school setting serving students in a dedicated school district. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized support to one student on your caseload, with a flexible schedule of 1-3 hours per week.
Location: Plymouth, NH (position is out of district but affiliated with a regional school district based in Tilton, NH)
Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of a student within a K-12 educational environment
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development and inclusion
- Document therapy sessions and progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings as needed to develop and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working in school settings
- Familiarity with K-12 school occupational therapy standards and practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an out-of-district setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
